Stayed 4 nights at Kingston Place B & B for business. Was quite well satisfied with the property, management, breakfast and staff. The proprietor, Rod, offered to pick me up from center of Umhlanga Rocks. The taxi rides thereafter were but $3 - $4 one way back to town. Rod gave me the name and number of the taxi driver he uses. Michael ansered the phone each time I phoned and was there t pick me up quickly.

Excellent choice of restaurants but a 5 minute taxi trip away into town. If you want the higher priced view, walk down the hill from the city center and have a drink at the Beverly Hills Hotel or the Oyster Box. My room was quite spacious with a queen bed and sofa. Good Wifi. Located at very quiet cul de sac on the hills overlooking the ocean.

I had a great time I will definitely be back. The owner was so wonderful. Thank you so so much for your hospitality.

Comments:Work travel has meant I have seen too many hotel rooms with lack of personality in my life, so my mission is to find alternative accommodation, my agent recommended this B&B and locality and reviews looked good, once you get to Rod’s guest house you can quickly see why, spotlessly clean, great rooms, relaxed atmosphere, very reasonably priced, great breakfast (included) and a nice home away from home atmosphere that also allows you to wind down after a day working as you would at home, it’s a no brainer to go back here in future.
